After successfully hosting one of the biggest weddings of the year, we were thrilled to take on the challenge of planning an encore event that would exceed all expectations. This was not just another birthday; it was “The Wedding Part 2,” a night destined to be the talk of the town!

The luxurious Marriott Owings Mills Metro Centre, located on Grand Central Avenue in Owings Mills, Maryland, was transformed into an elegant celebration space. The atmosphere was set for a sophisticated yet vibrant evening with a color palette of black, grey, and white, accented by metallic silver. The only prerequisite from Duane was a spacious dance floor—one where guests could genuinely let loose and dance the night away!

As guests arrived, they were greeted by a grand entrance adorned with stunning decor and monograms displaying Duane’s name, setting the tone for an extravagant celebration. A spectacular balloon garland hung from the ceiling above the dance floor, creating a whimsical focal point that dazzled everyone.

Our goal was to bring out Duane's true personality in every detail. We crafted centerpieces featuring white hydrangeas and roses topped with striking black feathers in sleek black trumpet vases. Cylinders filled with black floating candles added an enchanting glow, enhancing the overall elegance of the event. We performed our mission to create an event as magnificent as their wedding while ensuring it maintained a distinctive masculine vibe.

This extraordinary celebration marked the first party thrown for Duane, who is known as the life of every gathering but had yet to experience a celebration in his honor. After a year of meticulous planning, we assembled an all-star team of “A” list event professionals to ensure every aspect of the night was flawless.

The night they kicked off with a grand entrance for Duane and LaVerne, perfectly timed to one of the hottest songs of the year, "Not Like Us" by Kendrick Lamar. This track resonated deeply with their journey together, setting the stage for an evening filled with love and celebration.

The hotel staff was exceptional, providing top-notch service and ensuring the evening flowed seamlessly. The food was plentiful and delicious, keeping guests satisfied throughout the night. A unique highlight was the certified cigar roller, Guillermo from Don Rosario, who was flown in from San Juan. His hand-rolled cigars and premium rum added a luxurious touch that guests enjoyed.

DJ Eli, MC Tommy Gunz and the Sound Vision Team, energized the crowd, ensuring the dance floor was packed all night. No one was sitting; the atmosphere was electric with laughter, dancing, and celebration.

Guests also had a blast at the 360 Photo Booth, which had fun props and 8-foot backdrops, capturing memories that would last a lifetime. International award-winning photographer Kenny Clapp was on hand to document the magic of the evening, ensuring every precious moment was preserved.

As the main event ended, the excitement didn’t stop. Guests who weren’t ready to leave continued the celebration in the hotel's Duane and LaVerne’s luxurious penthouse suite. The after-party was an intimate affair filled with laughter, joy, and cherished moments among friends and family.
